You'll have fun playing this Olds Double french horn. The serial number is 695xxx which puts the date of manufacture around 1968-69. On the bell it reads "F.E. Olds & Son Fullerton, Calif." Well made, it has; nice action, string linkage, free moving tuning slides, 80-90% of it's finish, a ding here and there, mouthpiece and a nice heavy duty case. It has a dent/ding on top side (see pic), a ding on the bell and it needs a screw that goes into the thumb trigger. If I can find one, I'll put it on. I've heard these horns compared to the Conn 6D. I know Olds didn't make french horns so I'm not sure who really made this. I believe Reynolds was part of there operation by the late 60's but again, I'm not positive who made this. I think this model was called the O-44 or O-45. If you know, email me. I'm curious. Ok, I'm not a music store. Looking for horns and getting them into the hands of players is a hobby of mine. As is, it would be good enough for me. I'm terrible and even I can get a nice sound out of it. That said, like any Ebay horn, you'll probably want to have your tech give it a quick look see to get in tip top shape. It's cool. You'll be proud to own it. Auction winner pays for shipping and by cashier's check/money order/cleared personal check/PayPal...Good Luck.
