You are bidding on an Oliver 1600 gas tractor. Everything on this unit works right down to the gauges and even the flashing light on the fender. It had a complete overhaul last spring with new pistons and sleeves, etc. The head was pressure tested as well. It also has a new starter on it. The tractor runs like a new one. It has been stored inside the last two years. I originally bought it to restore but ended up using it on my acreage. The paint and metal and battery cover are in good condition. It has an adjustable steering wheel along with power steering. The over/under hydraul shift is smooth with no jerking to speak of. I purchased a larger tractor and I don't need three for my small farm so this was the best candidate for sale. I had it appraised by an antique tractor dealer, he stated as it sits it is worth about $7500.00, with a new paint job and rear tires about $9500.00. You just don't see many of these anymore, especially in this condition. It is advertised locally as well. This item would need to be picked up at my farm. This would be a good farm tractor or an excellent candidate for a collectors item/restoration project investment. With what I purchased it for and the repairs made, I have almost $8,000.00 invested in it.
