Dust jacket has edge wear especially head of spine; minor wear and discoloration; not price clipped ($3.95 original price). The book is very clean with only slight wear to the surface. The binding is tight and the pages are clean and unmarked. No names or ownership markings; no odors. A very clean early edition of the classic work by British novelist Shute, set in Melbourne, Australia as the inhabitants await the deadly results of atomic war.
