This Knittique Original pattern allows you to choose either the one-ball or two-ball versions! And it's easy to knit with circular needles; starting at the lower edge, it's a simple ribbed tube with decreases in the purl sections providing both the neck and shoulder shaping. This design is perfect for experimenting with yarn combinations-- I've made several different versions with the two-ball pattern, including one using Piuma Gold for the top of the capelet, and Gossamer for a sheer effect on the lower half. (Gossamer is also from Karabella Yarns-- find this yarn in the Luxury Yarns and Novelty Yarns categories.)
You need to know how to: Cast on, knit stitch, purl stitch, knit in the round, purl 2 together, bind off.
