A Precision Interference Filter for made specifically for ebay Astronomers, that selectively transmits the Hydrogen beta emission of Galaxies. Improvements over those produced for Lumicon and Thousand Oaks and others. This filter has had significant development to produce excellent transmission of the Hydrogen lines at 486 nm, while attenuating most of the background light from other sources. New Improved design extends free spectral range to cover CCD sensor, while maintaining very high trhoughput at 486.1nm. This is a narrow pass band filter, with a bandwidth of 5nm as compared to a more typical 10nm. The filter is mounted in a standard 48 mm (or 2") eye piece threaded ring.
