This precision optical interference filter is NOS for OEM accounts of Omega Optical. The filter is designed to efficiently collect the Red emission of Propidium Iodide, or Nile Red, and other Red emitting fluorescent dyes. The filter has extremely sharp edges and high level of attenuating of excitation light shorter than than 600 nm, and extending to the far red (800nm). This filter can be used to upgrade the performance of a fluorescence microscope, or it can be used to made a dedicated fluorescence detector. The filter is of high optical quality, with AR coatings on it's exit surface. The filter can also be used to isolate the mid red and portion of the spectrum with very high efficeincy of nearly 90%. The filter specifications are as follows: CWL 635nm +3/-3nm, HBW 35 nm +5/-5nm, Size 18.0 mm dia. +0/-.25mm, Transmission >75%, Free Spectral range UV to 800 nm. New cost is about $150.00
