This filter is a covered by US Patent as an Interference Coating design that Enhances Recording of Color Images. It is especially useful in astrophotography of bright objects such as the Moon and Planets. Built into the design is a Light Polution consideration, as the filter removes the most offensive earth born light.
Major claims of the Patent cover the ability to remove light that is damaging to Color Saturation and Hue. Futhermore, the filter removes the interfering illumination of both IR and UV emission, as well as the Cyan and Yellow spectral regions where photons result in mutted Hue.
These filters are bing offered in standard eyepiece holders. This listing is for the 1.25" eyepiece. (Other listing for 2" eyepiece is available at my store)
The filter is supplied with a anodized aluminum threaded holder that allows stacking of multiple filters.
Filter Specifications: SpectrPlus Patented coating with near unity transmission of Blue, Green, and Red, with high attenuation of UV, Cyan, Yellow, and IR light. Removal of these wavelengths results in improved Color Saturation and Hue, as well as optimizing of camera MTF.
If you don't find what you want with a simple search in my BJOMEJAG EBUYER STORE, try a wild card search by using an asterics after the wavelength.
