Up for bid are four Ordovician fossils from the Bobcaygeon hardgrounds here in Brechin, Ontario. Looking at the gallery picture; top-left is a Cupulocrinus sp. crinoid with stem and detailed crown. Top-right is a Ceraurus sp. trilobite complete with genal and pygidial spines, the specimen is weathered and has a small crack running across the cephalon. The bottom-left block preserves a Stenaster salteri starfish displaying five detailed tentacles but unfortunately missing parts of the center plates. Bottom-right is a Pleurocystites sp. cystoid with most of its tail, theca, and part of one of its two arms. This is an excellent offering for anyone starting a fossil collection or classroom study.
