8-16 Gas Tractor Brochure / Poster

You are bidding on an original advertising mailing brochure for the 8-16 Mogul gas farm tractor built by the International Harvester Company of Chicago, Illinois.  Brochure has original 1 cent stamp on it along with IHC return address.  It is stamped by post office as 'Chicago, Ill 1915'  Front of mailer has illustration of tractor along with various farm scenes of horses and equipment that the 8-16 Mogul tractor can help replace.  Title says 'Let The Tractor Do It'  There is some writing, might be mailing address to a Mr. Simms of Ill.  

Folded up, brochure is 11 3/4" W by 5 1/2" T.  It folds open to create an advertising poster that is 23 1/2" T by 16 1/2" W.  Top of the poster has huge color illustration of the 8-16 Mogul.  Bottom has a pinkish red pyramid of real farming pictures showing the 8-16 tractor at work.  Back of the poster has a full page testimonial of the 8-16 Mogul tractor by a customer in NJ.  The other side has details about the 8-16 Mogul tractor and how it runs on kerosene, list of things the Mogul tractor can do every day, and description of how the 8-16 Mogul is made.

Overall, this advertising piece is in good shape for its age.  The front and back of the poster has some smudge staining on the edges.  However, the poster side of the piece is in the best shape with the least staining.  No major rips or tears.  Crisp clear color.  See pictures of this rare piece that would look great framed on your wall!
