Dwight David Eisenhower is best known as (ANGEL of LIBERATION) an Army General and as president of the United States.  In this painting, He is president of Columbia University 1948. This is a remarkable and unique work of art, not because of who the artist was, not because of the quality of the painting, BUT...because of  the nature of the world leader captured by this artist.

This painting belonged to a certain Columbia University professor who gave it to his grandaughter as an act of LOVE.  The grandaughter gave it to her future husband (so she thought) as an act of LOVE.  A gift, as an act of LOVE, is a wonderful human quality.

If you look at IKE,s hands and put yourself in his place, you will see the letters WC. I believe that IKE is communicating that the artist was Winston Churchill..Why would a painting of DDE by WC be on ebay with such a low starting price? Simple! This is still the US of A, the land of opportunity.
