Original 1963 ’63 Fender Jazzmaster Pickup covers

Ladies and Gentlemen,

This is your lucky day.  For about 20 years I have been sitting on a 1963 Jazzmaster that some genius unfinished the body on many years ago.  My plan was to someday have one of those super relic luthiers out there refinish it, but never got around to it.  Since it was taken apart almost all this time and hasn’t been making my life better, I have decided to sell it off in pieces…that and I misplaced the medicine bottle with some of the screws.  So my loss is your gain.

These are not copies.  Not replicas.  They are the real deal.  The original guitar was a three tone sunburst Jazzmaster, neck stamp 4 Dec 63 B, the serial number was L24286.  The individual parts are in excellent condition and will be available in separate auctions.  Tell your rich collector buddy about my auctions.

This particular auction is for the original Pickup covers.  Sorry the pickups solder within minutes of hitting ebay and the mounting screws are among the missing in action.  The condition is very good for the age.  This guitar was in storage most of the last 20 years.  They have appropriately light but authentic wear.

What you have to do to own this item:

You are clearly not going to be the only person out there looking for ’63 Fender Jazzmaster parts in this condition.  You are going to have to bid high and bid often.  Some of those folks out there have a Jazzmaster project they want to finish and they are going to try to sneak in and snag these covers right out from under you.  Don’t let them do it.  They won’t be making any more 1963 split window Vetts or Fenders.  You got to grab them when you can.  Bid like you have lost your mind!
