Offered for your consideration, a wonderful original charcoal drawing by Whitney Darrow (1909-1999)who drew for the "New Yorker" magazine. This particular drawing had a letter and the finished advertising product for United Guaranty Corporation. It has the Signed Charcoal drawing on one side of the frame under non-glare glass and on the back side under glass a letter of authenticity from W. L. Hemphill, President, United Guaranty Corporation, dated December 9, 1977.
The letter is to Bill, quote "Dear Bill: Thought you might like to have this memento of the current advertising campaign. This is the original charcoal drawing done by Whitney Darrow, who draws for the "New Yorker" magazine. We start with this drawing and develop the finished product". Sincerely, Bill
The other side of the letter is the finished product with the caption underneath. Remember when viewing the closeup images of this the line you see is the wire that is on the back side for hanging. The drawing in the matting measures 16" X 19", you can add another inch for the frame. Excellent condition. I can ship Priority Mail with Ins. for $25.00.
