Painted
Bird Images
The Painted Bird creates one-of-a-kind
decorative bird decoys exclusively from the studio of renowned
wildlife artist Richard Morgan. Each decoy is faithfully reproduced
in native woods, and lovingly finished by hand, with an artist's
eye and craftsmanship thought to have been lost to a foregone
age. Such quality rivals or exceeds the finest carvings being
created today. Since each and every creation is slowly and laboriously
crafted by hand - specifically for your order - no two of these
will be exactly alike; each one is a one of a kind work of art,
created just for you.
This line of fine quality shorebird decoys
is patterned after authentic Early American hunting decoys. Completely
handmade of native woods and hand painted to resemble the aged
and painted appearance of the originals from yesteryear. As authentic
one of a kind reproductions, they are recognized and sought-after
as being among the finest collectibles available today. Art galleries
nationwide proudly offer these fine works of woodcarvers art,
and now you can choose among them as well. No matter which of
these decoys you invite into your home, they will decorate and
beautify any room in which they are placed, and become a prized
heirloom. These exceptional original creations are also finding
their way into the studios of wildlife and portrait photographers
worldwide for both indoor and outdoor photography (see below).

| Great for photography:
These great carvings
are just perfect for adding beauty and drama to your photographs!
For outdoor shots, place them around your subject, or in the
background. Light the decoys to throw a long shadow, adding interest
and drama to your images. Or have one "eating" out
of your subject's hands. Perfect for beach and forest scenes,
or if in the studio, shoot your subject in front of a chromakey
background and drop in a beach or forest scene behind them. They're
also fabulous for adding unique interest to your product shots
- especially those with a "green" aspect, health, travel,
wildlife, and almost any photographic scene you can imagine. |
