"White fence"

An intricately detailed etching of an old oak tree near a fence surrounded by embossed trees!

           The image is printed from a plate which I have etched and engraved- the plate being inked and wiped and pulled through a hand cranked press for each impression.

I have then hand colored it with watercolor and prismacolor watercolor pencils. The paper is RIVES 100% cotton rag, heavy wieght,acid free. This is an artist's proof.

 The subtle raised embossed trees are created by pressing the dampened paper into impressions that I have reverse carved.  I'm afraid the embossing does not show up very well on this scan.  

The image size including embossing is 4 1/2" x  5 1/2" .  The etching comes protected by mat board with a description of the process in a plastic sleeve.

               I have been a professional artist for about 30 years and a printmaker for many of these. My work has been sold in galleries and stores across the United States and Canada.
