This item for your bidding consideration is an expressionistic color lithograph by noted Colorado printmaker Mel Strawn. The piece is signed in pencil by the artist at the lower right. The print is titled in pencil "Volcano Canyon" in the middle of the lower margin and the edition number E/17 is also noted in pencil. The lithograph measures 23" x 12". There are a few condition problems. The lower right corner of the margin is missing and there is a well repaired tear that extends about 1 inch into the image (also in that lower left area). There is a thin, short (about a 1.25") residue of yellowed masking tape in the margin (well away from the image) at the upper left. Finally, there is an unobtrusive horizontal crease in the lower left margin below the pencil signature and title. Margins are ample. No foxing or stains. Color is explosively vibrant
