Original French Opera Poster by Orazi - Theodora 1884

Manual Orazi 1860 - 1934 . Theodora was done in 1884 and may very well be the first poster of Sarah Bernhardt. The description of this poster in the Reims Catalog of 1896 states that the Byzantine mosaic color is by Orazi but the design is by Auguste Francois Gorguet (1862-1927). In any case, this beautiful Art Nouveau piece has been praised since it appeared and is now available in near perfect condition with a fresh linen backing.
