Bright and Colorful Table Runner

This striking quilted table runner is a sample I made for the book "Back to Basics" by my friend Pat Yamin.  It is a block called the Wampum Block.

The colors are nice and bright - cherry red, bright yellow and black and white make a striking statement.  Would look great in a bright kitchen.

All fabric is best-quality 100% cotton quilting fabric.

As shown in the close-up photo, the quilt is free-motion meander quilted with variegated thread, adding nice organic elements to the geometric lines.
