Artillery Regt.II Field Artillery

This beautiful old stein shows all the things a collector wants to see. The lid thumb lift is an Imperial Lion with a field artillery piece. The trophys and faces are deep and have sharp detail. There are plaques on the lid with Kaiser Wilhelm and Grand Duke Ernst Louis and there Coat of Arms behind them. The German National Eagle is below tha royal faces.

The stein has over glaze gold buttons and hand painted ledger around the top and the owner and military unit handpainted around the bottom. There are six detailed panels.They show a farewell, troups and horses pulling a cannon, Officers asking directions,an officer on horse back in a charging pose,men firing a cannon and the town of Feste Marienberg.

The lithopaine is of Grand Duke Ernst Louis.
