My name is Tomoko Patricia Sato. I am native Japanese, born in Oita Prefecture in Kyushu, Japan. I started calligraphy at a young age. I studied philosophy at Kyushu University where I graduated.

I hope my calligraphy work could become a small bridge for you to walk onto the world of peace and hope, to discover the heart of the Orient.
I try to put my whole heart and my energy into every one of my artworks, with a prayer for the world peace, to bind east and west together in true love and friendship.
