Original Kay Nielsen Book Plate from The Golden Bough

The item being offered is an original book plate by Kay Nielsen, Danish, 1886 - 1957. It is from The Golden Bough - A Study in Magic and Religion by Sir James George Frazer. The plate is tipped in onto a page of the book. The caption below the print reads ""On that island stands a church, in that church is a well, in that well swims a duck"  Page 126". The print itself measures approximately 5" x 7", and the page measures approximately 6" x 8¾". The print is in very good condition with good color retention. The book page has a little staining on the bottom and lower right edges.
