Our very talented younger sister, Madeleine has given us quite a few of her gorgeous fairy paintings to list. A creative free-spirit, Madeleine has traveled to many fairylands to discover the inspiration for her art.

The photos of this beautiful work of art DO NOT do it justice! I am not a professional photographer and it's very difficult to photograph a painting. The painting itself is much more beautiful and delicate than I could capture in a photo. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of art that represents hours and hours of detailed delicate painting.

This painting titled "Absinthe Fairy" has been handpainted in oils on stretched canvas. The sides are painted and staple free, so the painting could be hung beautifully as-is or it could be framed. The size of the piece is 16x20. This fairy is so delicately painted that she really seems to glow, the wings are translucent and the possessed eyes are quite haunting. This would be a wonderful addition to any art collection.
