A beautiful pink flamingo is upright against a tropical abstract background. This is an original oil painting done on staple free gallery wrapped canvas. The sides are painted with taupe oil paint.

Exhibited at galleries and selected for prestigious juried shows throughout the New York tri-state area, Schulman's works are also included in private collections internationally. She has been published in The New York Times, and was recently a winner at Waterworks in Westchester. Schulman's uniqueness comes from her mastery of watercolor for portraits; a medium rarely used for portraits but is ideal for expressing luminosity of skin tones. The artist studied art and art history while at Dartmouth College.
