About This Piece:

My husband and I go mountain biking often in Moab. On a very warm day, we took a picture of The Wall Arch. This arch has since collapsed just this year. I am glad we got to see it intact. This painting brings out the desert colors and warmth of that enchanted place. Painting is painted on the sides so framing is not necessary and it is ready to hang. There is also a layer of protective varnish covering the painting.

About the Artist:

My name is Laura and I have been painting for 8 years. I have two years of formal training in fine art and the rest is self-taught. As you can see, I am a huge fan of bold color and depth. I also enjoy working with drawing and watercolor mediums. I was born in Florida and have moved around quite a lot in my life, from New York to France to L.A. to Seattle and now to the Rocky Mountains of Colorado which I adore. Nature, or more specifically, the colors and flow of nature inspire me as I tend to get most of my ideas straight out of my head. I also love experimenting with different kinds of styles and have not really found a "niche" as far as my own personal style goes. Thank you for looking and I hope you enjoy!!
