Original Singer 221 Featherweight Sewing Machine Case

For your consideration is this original Singer 221 Featherweight sewing machine case.  The machine that was in this case was from 1940 - with a serial number of AF590907 which will be parted out in the near future.

 The case is not perfect but will work if you are in need of one.  It has scuffed corners and edges, wrinkled cloth, and has an old maybe a bit musty smell to it. The case does have the tray that fits at the top. 

It looks like someone tried to fix it up a bit at some point - there are places where the fabric is missing and those areas look to have been filled in with black in most places...I googled repair a Singer 221 and did a bit of reading - I read where people recommended black marker or shoe polish to fix up a case so I am guessing something like that was used.  The case does give a nice overall appearance.
