1.Description: Original WW1 and WW2 items.

3. Condition of Item: Good overall condition, the WW1 licenses and papers are dirty and worn from use and age, the rest of the grouping is in good condition - please see image file.
4. Identification:The fathers name was Lester Blake and the sons was Earle.  The father was in the 54th Coast Artillery and served overseas and the son was in the US Navy with 4 battle stars on his ribbon bar.
5. Other Information: The fathers group consists of WW1 victory medal with St. Mihiel, Meuse-Argonne & Defensive Sector bars, two dog tags marked "Lester C. Blake Corp/ Bty B 54 Art C.A.C.". Along with the dog tags on the original dog tag cord is an round engraved bronze medal.  The medal reads "Supreme Lodge Knights of Pythias European War Medal" on the front and "Knight" engraved name "Lester C. Blake" Member of Lodge 33 Domaim of Maine".  Original French drivers license made out to "Corp Blake, Lester C - 54th Arty CAC dated May 16, 1918.  A pass with Corp Blakes name typed signed by the commnading officer. Another small stamped piece of paper "APM Paris Registration Coupon In - the stamp reads "Asstistant ...ost Marshal  AEF 108" and dated 1918".  The sons group starts with a 3x4 Navy photo signed "To Dave from Dad" in a leather frame, two navy dog tags on original chain which read "Earle A. Blake 10/43 USNR", WW2 Victory medal, Ribbon bar with 4 battle stars on the Asiatic-Pacific campaign bar - 2 battle stars on a red ribbon bar I can't identify. There are two small stars, one with 15 and one with 20 for years in a veteran organization.  There is also an envelope with Japanese writing showing ships.  Inside the envelope are 12 pre-printed Japanese postcards mostly Japanese Naval themes.   Please check out my “About Me” page and visit our ebay store!
