Original Williams STARGATE ARCADE GAME Coin Op
THIS ITEM IS FOR PICK UP ONLY AT OUR WAREHOUSE IN ANAHEIM, CA. WE CANNOT SHIP, PACK OR PREPARE THIS ITEM FOR SHIPPING.
ABOUT THIS PARTICULAR ITEM:
This has been previously owned of course, and was in daily use by it's previous owner. It shows the wear that comes with age and light normal scuffs and nicks here and there as you would expect of a vintage used arcade machine. It has NOT been restored or refurbished... it has been in storage for almost 20 years before we brought it here to our warehouse.
It could use a good cleaning and detailing by it's next owner. I checked all over and found no major issues or damage beyond the light wear I described and that you see in the photos, so you won't have any unexpected surprises. No cigarette burns, grafitti, broken or missing trim, etc. No keys, but it's open and a screw holds the back on.
We plugged this in and at first got nothing but sound... then we opened the back and looked around, and everything looks good inside, so we closed it back up and tried powering up again... and this time it worked. Then the picture went dark, but the sound stayed on... then the game came back to normal and played great... then the creen turned yellow but played fine. We found out you can slap the side of the cabinet and make things go normal or crazy, so we know something is loose somewhere. THEREFORE, this will be sold AS-IS, for repair.
THIS GAME NEEDS REPAIR... IT IS OFFERED AS-IS.
No repair has been attempted. We're not in the video game business. We spent 10 minutes with this thing and most of that was taking pictures, period. We don't know a thing about this stuff except how to sell it.

ABOUT OUR ITEMS IN GENERAL:
Just one of the many interesting items I've got up for auction this week from several estates and various unclaimed storages. Please take a look at my other listings! We offer all our items just as we bring them in... sometimes dusty and in need of light cleaning. Keep in mind in many cases we know absolutely nothing about a specific item, it's history, how it works, or how to use it! Please examine the photos carefully to see what's included and what's not... since you are bidding on the exact item shown in the pictures. I will always describe the condition the best I can, by telling you what I see in front of me.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions about our auctions:
*****
Q: Do you have a Buy-it-Now price on this? Will you end the auction early for an offer?
A: We do not offer "Buy-it-Now" prices or end auctions early for offers.
*****
Q: Your auction says "pick up only". Why won't you ship this? I am far away and I want to bid.
A: Some things are just way too big and complicated for us to pack. Certain items may not be cost effective to ship (like a $99 item that costs $500 to ship). Other items are impossible to ship without a high risk of damage. We also have no loading dock, pallets, strapping equipment, etc. Add to that the fact that we are old and feeble. We realize we limit ourselves to the 24 million people who live within an hour's drive of our place when we make an item "pick up only", but it works for us. However, we don't mind if you arrange a local person or company to come and pick up your item for you... as long as we don't have to prepare it for shipment.
*****
Q: What's the history on this? Where did you get it? How old is it?
A: Our things come from complete estate purchases and bulk unclaimed storage purchases. We obviously can't talk to the previous owner about the items we purchase, so we generally know nothing about the item's past history.
