USED ORTHOFIX SPINAL SIM BONE GROWTH STIMULATOR - USED BY ORIGINAL OWNER ONLY

This unit is a noninvasive electromagnetic bone growth stimulator augmenting bone fusion sucess after back lumbar area surgeries and also as a nonoperative treatment spinal salvage of failed spinal fusion in lower back areas.

Benefits to the patient: - Lightweight and extremely portable. Self-contained, no attachments when in use. Patient can move about freely. Separate charging unit detaches from control unit to provide about 10-12 hours of continuous use. The unit is designed for maximum comfort and patient flexibility. The control unit is charged by connecting the control unit to a standard 120 VAC wall outlet via the included Charger Unit. An Instruction Manual, also included, gives complete Device Operation and Application and also gives further spinal fusion healing statistics. The Orthofix PEMF Stimulation chapter describes how this device activates the body's own repair mechinism which stimulates bone healing.

Ease of operation - Patient-friendly control unit gives instant LCD operational status. This unit was set for the healing prescription as ordered by the attending physician. An example of such a prescription can be: 4 hours daily for a 6 month period. In this case, the control unit automatically stops the operation after 4 hours per day and cannot be restarted until the next day. Of course this operational interval can be reprogrammed to meet differing physicians' requirements  

Except for its straps loosing some elasticity, this stimulator is in excellant condition, As stated the one user was extremely happy with solid spine fusion sucess after his 2L-1S operation to correct for a spinal stinosis.
