Otagiri Japan Hand Crafted Seascape Lighthouse Mug

This majestic seascape mug is perfect for daydreaming.  I even think you can hear the ocean if you hold it up to your ear.  With a sky full of seagulls flying over sandy dunes filled with cattails, it captures the beauty of our  picturesque Mid-Atlantic coastline.  There is a tall lighthouse on a jetty in the background and delicate blue clouds overhead.  Made in Japan by Otagiri, the mug is new with the original gold foil sticker on the base.   

The mug  displays beautifully and the thick shiny glaze feels like polished glass. It is an excellent example of Otagiri workmanship, with the highest quality materials and exquisite detailing.  The tall mug  4 1/2" tall and 2 3/4" across the bottom.  It will be a fine addition to your collection or to enjoy with your morning coffee. 

This is one of my Otagiri mugs that I have decided to part with.  It is from my ever increasing collection.  Tucked in the back of my china cabinet, Otagiri mugs are like rabbits, they seem to multiply when left undisturbed in dark places.  It's time to make room for more mugs.  Otagiri mugs are addictive.
