This fine Irish Our Lady of Knock Rosary is a beautiful rosary with AB emeral green faceted glass beads that are 6 mm. Centerpiece has color picture of Our Lady of Knock Shrine & group praising Virgin Mary.

Knock, generally known in Irish as The Hill (of the Virgin Mary), is a small village in County Mayo, Ireland. On the 21st of August in 1879, two women from the village were walking home when they passed by the local church. They saw an apparition of Our Lady, St. Joseph, and St. John appearing at the south gable of the church. Ten days later, the first cure occurred. And cured pilgrims still leave their cruches and other items by the Apparition Gable as evidence of Knock's healing power. The personal pilgrimage of Pope Paul II in 1979, 100 years after the apparition, has inspired an even greater devotion to the Shrine and has endorsed the seal of Vatican approval.
