Hello from Jerry Roberts in Nashville. Thanks for taking time to look at one of dozens of classical guitars I have available for sale on eBay.  In this listing is  an outstanding Jose Ramirez classical guitar 2a made in Madrid in  1973.  I do not use the word outstanding lightly here.  I have owned many dozens of Jose Ramirez concert guitars over the last four decades and this one is hands down the finest sounding one!  Absolutely stunninng Brazilan rosewood back and sides. The sides have the Cypress lining that Ramirez used from 1965 to the mid 1980s.  Western Red Cedar Top. Excellent condition. Bench mark of the luthier in Ramirez shop is  a numeral 5.  This builders benchmark  can be seen by looking inside the guitar with a mirror . It is located on the underside of the soudboard even with the 15th fret. This builder in Ramirez shop who used numeral 5, was according to Ramirez lore,   Fernando Morcuende de Cruz. Gears are the original Spanish made Fusteros.  Condition is excellent with all original finish.  Trebles have the big wide warm sound of only  the very best Ramirez  guitars.  Scale is 664mm.   Owner has lowered the action very low and has filed a small notch in the wood of the bridge under each string to allow a much lower saddle height, otherwise no modifications. This is a number 2a, with the red border around the label and the faint  numeral 2  on the bottom half of the label, superimposed over the Jose Ramirez signature..  If you had the time and money to travel around to play every Ramirez that comes on the market you might find another one with this wonderful sound… maybe if you looked for years and years…. or maybe not.  So here is your chance to go straight for the best sounding Ramirez.  I will do a complete set of photos in the next couple of days so.
