28 Pages. A fantastic introductory edtion exploring the fabulous Victorian art of Macrame or Knotting. This volume was designed to introduce you to the art. There are several complete projects here such as many different varieties of macrame belts and a shade pull. later editions explore more complex projects such as purses. Very well illustrated and easy to follow instructions.

Macrame is another name for Knotting - the very old craft that originated in the Middle East centuries ago. During Victorian times, it became quite popular and was used for clothing and home decoration. This book is the first of a series of three books from the P. C. Herwig Co., which produced Macrame supplies during Prohibition times.
