reproduction bronze casting after Pierre Jules Mene of
"Cheval a la Barriere (Djinn)" AKA "Barbary Stallion (Djinn)".

This Mene piece is also known as Horse by Fence

approximate dimensions are Height=11 inches, Base measures 143/8 inches long by 51/4 inches wide

Nose to tail=16 inches

This piece was produced late 2004
after Mene.

This piece does not have any foundry mark. It was produced by a California based foundry.

This is not a casting from 1849 time frame which was exhibited at the Salon. This is a current reproduction which was produced in 2004 and mounted on a triple marble base.

I have included a number of images. The bronze is in very good
to excellent condition. 

Make sure you seen the early turn of the century casting I have up for sale. The ebay number is 350089855108.

This is currently from my own collection.

I am offering free shipping within the lower 48 states. Shipping to Hawaii and Alaska are extra. Buyer to cover shipping cost.
