Lockheed Model 382E (L-100-20) die cast model made by Matthys Verkuyl, Holland in 1970's. This highly respected model making company ceased operations in 1990 when it was aquired by IMC Modelworks. The aircraft is in over-all excellent condition. However, it is missing two of its props, has a 3/8" (1cm) chip in the blue painted decal under port wing parallel to engine #3, Also, a few very small chips (largest 1/4" or .6cm) at top and base of Vertical Stabilizer. Model dimensions are: 15 5/8" (39.6cm) Wingspan X 12 7/8" (32.5cm) Length. This is a rare model! Pacific Western Airlines (PWA) was founded in 1946 as Central British Columbia Airways, Ltd. The airline, last operated under PWA Corp as Canadian Airlines International, was absorbed by Air Canada in 2001. Learn more about the company by going to wikipedia.org/wiki/pacific_western_airlines.
