PAIR Antique English Turned Oak Candlesticks

Ornate Cast Metal Tops w Acanthus Design & Original Bobeche

 

Direct from England, a lovely pair of antique turned oak candlesticks, solid oak with the traditional base and fabulous old heavy cast metal tops……the tops have a glorious design and the original bobeche’s are present – VERY RARE TO FIND THEM, as they are removable and SELDOM make it through the years with the candlesticks!!  The oak has a wonderful rich finish and beautiful oak grain.....they have the original cork covering on the bottoms.

 

The pair are a versatile size, 10”H x 4 ” base diameter.

 

I purchased them from one of my favorite English shippers, along with several other pairs of barley twist candlesticks and other unique items that I’ll be listing just in time for the holidays!!

 All of my antiques are hand selected, utilizing premier European shippers with years of experience.  I do not purchase in bulk, but prefer to individually purchase the items, with each piece selected for its unique characteristics and quality.

 

Condition:

The candlesticks are in very good condition for their age, with normal signs of age and use, scratches, dings and other imperfections to be expected over time.  The heavy silver metal tops have normal oxidation, but retain much more of their silver colour than normally found!

I always provide multiple photos and written information and I encourage you to email me with any questions you might have prior to bidding.  Please keep in mind antique furniture should be purchased for its uniqueness, higher quality material and craftsmanship and antique patina, charm and character.

 Professional packaging, shipping and insurance on this item will be $21.00. (lower 48 states only).  All my antique furniture is professionally packaged for shipment by UPS, fully insured and shipped directly to your front door!!!
