These are nearly the feel of a wall hanging....

This auction features an exquisite Pair of French Gesso Barbola
Risers or Candle Stands.....
These are perfect for anything you like to display, and give height to....also perfect if you
like to use tabletop collections around your home, or for use in your retail store...
Original old gilt finish has a wonderful greenish tint, which you can see in my numerous pictures...
base hard wood is in perfect condition, with ornate French ornamental gesso on each base, all four sides and up stand...dripping from the underside
of top platforms are swags of roses..the larger of the two stands has a longer swag in front, and slightly shorter swag on back side.....
the shorter stand, is created in the same way with longer swag in front, and shorter swag on back side...important to note,
all of these four swag details feature roses, and there appears to be no missing gesso, except at the base of one stand, in back where
there is an old chip.....these both stand sturdy and straight, and look wonderful from every angle.....

Measurements are :
Taller stand: 18  1/4"   x  7  1/4"
Smaller Stand : 12  1/4"   x  6  1/4"

Use on table top, mantle, buffet, in bath around your tub or
anywhere you want to add French chair....
These have such an incredible Provence look...perfect for your
romantic home.....
