this is a 5 day auction. you are bidding on a matched pair of chapman modernist brass floor lamps in good original condition. the sleek and understated lamps have a wonderful form and patina and would be an important addition to any modernist interior. they are a very high quality lamps that are the perfect height and shape for the ends of a sofa or next to your favorite chair.  i believe they are brass but i am not sure. i have left them in as found condition these could likely be polished however the patina on them is outstanding and adds great character to these lamps. the tops of the lamp swivel from left to right, you can also rotate the light/shade as shown. both lamps have their original on/off switch. one lamp has a little play on the stem so the screws that fasten it to the base could be tightened/replaced. this is an easy fix that is not necessary but should be mentioned. these lamps measure 39.5" tall by 14.25" deep. one lamp has a chapman label on the underside as pictured. add these unusual chapman modernist floor lamps to your mid century modern eames era home!! please email with any specific questions. this item is available for viewing/pickup at our home based showroom in long beach, ca. buyers that reside in california must pay ca state sales tax (9.75%) on their purchase. delivery to the los angeles area will be $35.00 **out of area buyers** shipping for the pair of lamps will be via greyhound (requires pickup in your area) and will total $125  please email with any questions. **we do not offer second chance offers for our items. if you are contacted regarding a second chance offer for one of our items it is a scam and should be reported to ebay**
