What happens after I place my order?
Getting your handset(s) to us is really simple! After you make your purchase and make your PayPal payment, we'll email you your receipt with some simple instructions. Just so you'll know what to expect, we're including them here as well:
- Make a copy of your PayPal receipt and include it with your shipment.
- Attach a note on each unit describing its defective symptoms.
- Pack your handset as if it were as fragile as a raw egg and ship to:

- Make sure it's properly insured. Also, if you use the US Mail, we suggest you also get delivery confirmation service so that you can track it in case we don't receive your equipment in a timely manner. If you simply insure it, your insurance # cannot be used for you to track your shipment.
- For 99% of eBay repairs, the initial one-time PayPal payment covers all costs for repair and return. From time to time a phone may need an extra part that's not covered (see FAQ below "What parts aren't included?"). In such a case, we'll notify you by email and give you instructions on how you can pay for these extra parts via eBay. This way you can pay through PayPal and eBay gets the fees it deserves (and which we pay for, not you).

What are shipping charges?
- First unit- Flat rate $6.95 to lower 48 states (Hawaii, Alaska and Canada higher)
- Additional Units- Flat Rate $3.95 for each additional unit. Savings of $3.00 per unit.
- UPS ground, insurance included. If you want faster return shipping, you will have an opportunity to make your selection when you make your PayPal payment.
- Sorry, no local drop offs or pickups.
- If you purchase multiple repairs for the same shipment, and then decide to split them up into separate shipments, you'll be billed a $8.00 handling / shipping charge for each multiple shipment past the first.
What if I want to send in more than one handset?
We encourage multiple handset repair! In fact, you save $3.00 off the handling & shipping fee for each handset past the first one. Note: MUST BE ON THE SAME ORDER AND IN THE SAME SHIPMENT. Purchase only what you plan to send in within the same shipment; do not purchase multiple repairs and send them in separately.
Once you click through the bid button you will prompted to enter a quantity and the system will process your desired and take you to PayPal. If you don't have a PayPal account you will need to open one. It's easy and free to enroll, and the fees to purchase come from our proceeds --- it costs you nothing!
What parts are not included?
All electronic parts are included, with the following exceptions:

If these items are missing or damaged beyond repair when we get your order, we'll let you know and give you the option of having us replace them. If you do, we'll direct you to our eBay store, where you may purchase them and add them to your repair order.
If your display is faded but still readable, we will not replace it unless you specify you want it replaced on your paperwork. If your display is smashed or cracked, you will need a replacement. We will direct you to our eBay store to pay for a replacement display when your repair order is nearing its completion.
Please note that we do not sell parts by themselves, only as part of a repair.

How long do I have to send in my phone?
The auction of a repair service is no different than any eBay listing transaction, which is a binding contract good for 180 days (6 months). After 180 days, your repair coupon expires.
What if you can't repair my handset?
In very rare cases, a unit may be deemed uneconomical for repair (1%). If this happens, we'll notify you via email.
Important note: Please do not send us equipment that has been unsuccessfully repaired by someone else (we can tell), and don't try to get us to repair a "stacked deck", meaning a unit that has an unusually high number of defects due to it having been deliberately "loaded" with defective parts taken from other units (we can tell this, too). On average, such units take 3-4 times longer to repair than standard defective units, mainly because of the time it takes to correct mistakes and rework a bad repair job.
Do you sell handsets?
Absolutely, we even have an exchange service! Please see our Seller's Other Items for price and availability.
Can I get a refund if I change my mind about sending in my phone or if I mistakenly thought I was buying a phone instead of a repair??
The auction of a repair service is no different than any eBay listing transaction, which is a binding contract. If you choose not to send your unit in for repair, you may request a partial refund minus a $15.00 handling fee per unit.
