Unique Victorian Papier Mache & Mother of Pearl
Inlaid Table with Lamp, 1850-1899
Original tilt-top table heavily inlaid with mother of pearl and
painted base with gold stenciling has been retrofitted in past
with an electrified brass lamp which is in working order.
The original tilt mechanism is intact and can work. There are a few
dings, some crazing, and small chips which are consistent with age.
This distinctive piece was last used at the San Remo on Central Park West.
