Here is a gorgeous mauve and gold gilded with flowers Paragon cup and saucer set.  The flowers inside the cup and on the saucer are anemones.  The pattern is number A2254.  Cup has an elegant loop handle and pedestal base.  Cup stands about 2-3/4" and is about 3-1/2" across.  Saucer is about 5-3/4" in diameter.

Marked with “PARAGON [two similar marks, one for the Queen and the other for the Queen Mother - each a pair of animals embracing a coat of arms beneath a crown] BY APPOINTMENT FINE BONE CHINA ENGLAND REGD." and by hand in red "A2254/4 y".   This is the mark used between 1939 and 1949 by the Paragon Co. of Longton, England. 

No chips, cracks or crazing, in excellent condition. Also listed is a matching blue-green set.
