Patrick Demarchelier, born in Le Havre, (France, 1943), is one of the privileged few top photographers of our time. At the age of 17, he started photography. Through different jobs as an assistant, he learned the secrets of the profession and at the end of the sixties; he got his first publications in Elle and Marie-Claire. In 1975, Demarchelier moved to New York, where he established himself a reputation in fashion and portrait photography. His client list includes names such as Calvin Klein, Ralph Lauren, Versace, Chanel, Louis Vuitton and Armani, or Janet Jackson, Nicole Kidman, Madonna and Hillary Clinton. He became the official photographer of the Condé Nast group, who owns magazines such as Vogue and Allure. He photographed for the Pirelli calendar 2005 and is assigned for the 2007 edition. Demarchelier lives the same way his career evolved: rapidly and focused. He is open and friendly and able to make you feel at ease in a few minutes. He has a stronvision on image making, but is at the same time a team player. Influenced by the classics of photography and painting, Patrick Demarchelier plays with light, lines and forms of the human body, the fashion cloth or the wild elephant in the African landscape, always looking for beauty. “Beauty is everywhere”, he says, “you only have to open your eyes”. His photographs have been published and shown worldwide. His art prints are becoming collector’s items. Shipping

• All shipping costs to be paid by the buyer. S&H for US winners is in the $8-$16 range.
• Combine shipping is available. Combine shipping available only for auctions which end no more than 2 days apart
• All items are shipped within 2 business days after I receive the payment (except personal checks).
• All domestic items are shipped by Priority Mail with delivery confirmation.
• Insurance is included in S&H unless otherwise noted 
• Non US bidders (international) pay for Express Mail Service(EMS) . S&H for international bidders starts at $29.00. Price varies depending on the size, weight and destination of the package. Combined shipping with multiple purchases. Additional insurance can be purchased.
• Every item is inspected before shipping.

Bidding Terms

• Please ask all questions prior bidding.
• You will receive a "payment info" within 24 hrs of auction end. Please email me if you do not receive the payment info.
• Winner MUST contact me within three days and payment must be received within 7 days of auction end.
• Non Paying Bidder Form will be filed without further notices after 7 days and Final Value Credit after 17 days.
• Should you have any problem with the received merchandise, please contact us within 48 hrs after receipt of the merchandise, we will not be responsible for claims after 48 hrs.
• We reserve the right to cancel or retract bids without prior notice from bidders with zero or negative feedback, fraud/shield/fake bidding or not a serious bidder.
• We reserve the right to re-sell the item, if payment is not received within 7 days after the end of the auction.
