This is a new, maybe open-box, retail version of the software. To my knowledge, it has never been installed, used, or activated, although I cannot be 100% certain. The front of the box, as indicated in the photo, bears a price sticker marked $99.99--this is the photo of the actual software that you are purchasing!
This product is in the retail box, just as I bought it from a well-known electronics retail outlet as part of their inventory closeout! It could be a store return, an overstock, a display model, or a closeout item.
