Multiple Video Modes
This computer video scan converter offers a number of features and mixer modes, which can be used in conjunction with the included software. 

The selectable 4 operation modes supported are:

1. VGA mode to oversee what the computer content alone on TV or video monitor display before being overlaid/mixed.
2. Video mode to see the original external video input alone on TV.
3. Mixer mode to see the computer content semi transparent and laid on top of the external video input signal. 
4. Overlay mode with black or blue key option. When using the blue or black key for background at overlay mode, the blue/black area on the computer screen will be filled up with input video on the bottom layer. 

Differences between Mixer and Overlay modes. Mixer mode shows both the computer text messages and input video together while the computer texts and images are presented semi transparent through the top of the video signal. Overlay mode removes all black or blue background and displays the remains on top of the video image in solid color (non transparent). So if you have text or images over a black or blue background, the only portion to be shown on top of the video will be the text or image part. So visually the text message or computer graphics are inserted onto the video.
