DESCRIPTION: Vintage Postcard, from the Kershaw family collection, residents of Lawrence, Massachusetts, with a member in the US Navy who travelled all over the world, this is a wonderful collection of approx. 500 postcards and some photographs that we are listing, from Peru to Japan to the Philippines to Singapore, England, France, and more, as well as tons of early United States views, particularly Massachusetts and New Hampshire, as well as some holiday and novelty cards, most in remarkable unused condition, having been gently placed in postcard albums all these many years, most are from the first decade of the 20th Century, to see only the postcards from this collection please put the word KERSHAW into our store search box which is just above and to the right of our logo on this page, measures approx. 5 1/2" x 3 1/2", please see auction title and photos below and be sure to contact us prior to bidding if you have any questions.

KEY TO ABBREVIATIONS: We use several different abbrevations in our titles, such as PC (postcard), RP (real photo 1900+), PMC (private mailing card 1898-1901), LITHO (lithograph printing), EMB (embossed), UDB (undivided back 1901-1907), DB (divided back 1907-1915), WB (white border 1915-1930), LINEN (linen texture finish 1930-1950+), CH (Chrome or Kodachrome 1939+), and AL CT MA TN NC etc. for specific state abbreviations. Dates mentioned are approximations.
