This auction is for a One of a Kind (OOAK) Ashton Drake Gene Marshall fashion doll repainted and wearing a One of A Kind couture ensemble by the brilliant DAE team of David Escobedo and Brian Schafer (creators of Vivian and Monty). PEONY BLOSSOM is a geisha girl dressed authentically in a kimono of light gold light (sage) silk basket weaved brocade with powder blue woven flowers. Her kimono is lined out of a light blue silk. An underneath kimono is made of a white and grey silk shantung. Her obi is vintage royal blue, navy blue, and silver silk brocade woven with real silver leaves and flowers. Her hair is in traditional Geisha style adorned with flowers, bangles and silk ribbon (hair style is permanent). Her face has been repainted to give her an Oriental look. She has been carefully displayed and stored in my smoke-free home and has no flaws that I am aware of. She has never been re-dressed or restyled although her hairstyle did originally have a few more flowers in it and originally she came with an umbrella and decorative non-functional shoes (which will not accompany her this time around). On the bright side, her original retail price was $675 - I am her first and only owner - and I am offering her for just under $350, which seems like a pretty good discount for non-functional shoes and an umbrella. She will come to her new home in an Ashton Drake Gene box with a Gene stand and a signed COF. Her Gene box does have DAE PEONY BLOSSOM written on it in ink so if that is going to cause you to freak out, please do not bid.
