Today, there are many precious objects found in this region, which indicates that the residents were highly civilized people with great taste and culture. Hand-woven, Nahavand rugs, have great qualities due to the good wool they use, which makes these rugs extremely durable and shiny. The foundation is cotton and the pile is wool. The Turkish or symmetrical knot is used, and the designs are nomadic and geometric patterns, with a usual medallion in the center of the field. Dominating colors include rusty reds, khaki, and blues. Both attractive and durable, these rugs are perfect for any decor! |
