We are WardMaps, Purveyors of Antique Maps, Prints & Gifts. We have been dealing in late 19^th and early 20^th century antique real estate maps since 2004.

The core of our collection are what we refer to as "ward maps", detailed maps covering cities, neighborhoods and even single blocks. Our maps typically contain historic details about land use, ownership, building constructions. Our collection also features thousands of authentic antique maps of major north American and European cities and towns as well as other locales from around the world.

Our fine are prints of maps are proven bestsellers, but sometimes people want the real deal. From time to time we will run ebay auctions for the authentic antique maps in our collection.

The WardMaps name is associated with quality. Our map prints are museum quality, printed on archival papers using acid-free, archival inks. Our printing process ensures that the original colors of the maps are preserved, retaining the original patina and coloring of the maps. We do not “blast” the backgrounds of our map prints or alter the original coloring. Placed side by side, our map prints are frequently mistaken for the original antique maps. Each of our map prints is printed to order and must pass individual inspection before we ship it.

Our prints are superior. We exclusively use professional-grade Epson Ultrachrome inks and print onto specially formulated, genuine Epson white matte paper. Our prints are not color copies, nor are they simple ink-jet prints. Our prints are "100 year" prints.

We are antique map dealers who have sold thousands of 19th and early 20th century antique maps, prints and cartographic gifts of locales ranging from Boston to Brooklyn to Paris and many places in between. The majority of our prints are reproduced from our own collection of thousands of genuine antique maps.

We are a family run business with a true passion in preserving historic maps through digitalization and reproduction, making affordable reproductions available to the public. Among our satisfied clients are prominent universities, historic societies, framing shops, art galleries and specialty boutiques across the country. We are based in an historic building in Harvard Square, Massachusetts.

Payment Options: We accept all major credit cards as well as PayPal funds. We DO use the eBay automated checkout process. Simply choose the form of payment when responding to the eBay invoice.

Shipping: $6.50 via UPS Ground with insurance is charged for the first auction item purchased. $1.50 for each additional auction item purchased within 3 days.

Packaging: 13"x19" prints are shipped flat in protective plastic sleeves with acid-free backing boards.

Returns: We accept exchanges on defective prints or prints damaged in shipment only. We do not accept returns for any other reason. Shipping costs are non-refundable.
