Brand new and unread first UK dual signed limited edition hardback book in cloth boards and within a slipcase as published in 2008 by David Fickling Books in truly fine condition. The publisher's shrinkwrap is still present although has been opened to photograph the signing page. We are also including the Borders promotional postcard for this book.

The book is signed by Philip Pullman in his customary blue pen and by the illustrator John Lawrence on an inserted page which also states 'No 721 of 1,500', the '721' appears to have been written by John Lawrence.

The first edition status is confirmed by the numeric sequence

1 3 5 7 9 10 8 6 4 2 on the copyright page.

Many of these signed limited editions were recalled as they were not signed and have only recently come back into circulation.
