Sorry
but I do not know much about fossils so please have a close look at the
pictures.
These
are sold to me by treasure hunters and some of these people are also Tektite
hunters.
This
Pupa is from the Quezon Province and NOT from Quezon City! My suppliers told me
that they were found along the beach or lake shores and were apparently run
offs from nearby mountains during typhoons or landslides and believe me there
have been plenty of typhoons and floodings lately!
I
was told that these were Beetle Lavae or Pupa but really Im not too sure. They
look like something from underwater and it resembles some kind of worm or coral
to me. Again, Im not an expert with fossils.
The
larger specimen is apparently the largest that these things grow to and rarely
do they grow any bigger.
The
smaller specimen has a portion that looks like some sort for snail shell.
Some
of these specimens are found to have a hollow tube inside them but I don’t
think my specimen does.
These
are quite heavy and looks like some sort of crystal fossilized material???
If
anyone knows what these things are, by all means please enlighten me.
I only have two of
these and the other specimen I will be keeping just because these are so weird.
So this is the only one that you might see on ebay ever until another is
offered to me.
Please
also see my other Meteorite/Tektite and Meg Teeth listings.
All
my listings can be returned for a full refund minus the shipping cost.
