SELLING THE COLLECTION I've collected Playboy for several years, buying and selling magazines locally and on Ebay. It is time to sell the collection. Over the next few weeks I will be selling all of my #1's. The collection has been built by keeping the best copy of each issue as I acquired the magazines. These will typically range in quality from excellent to nearly pristine, except for some of the 50's issues. Please understand, I'm not a grader of magazines, so you won't see references to grading standards, which are not consistently applied anyway. I believe any of these issues will be an asset to the collections of all but the most finicky of you. If you are not pleased you may send the magazine back for a full refund. I'm not giving these away but they are priced to sell. Please feel free to email me with any questions. You are bidding on a copy of Playboy's January, 1960 issue in very good condition. The magazine is complete. There are no missing or torn pages. The centerfold is present and attached to the staples. Subscription cards are intact. There is little wear to the cover and spine. A previous owner has written "1960" above "January" on the front cover. This is a common flaw for issues of this era since Playboy did not list the year of publication on the cover. Overall, the magazine is in very good condition. This issue features Stella Stevens as the Playmate of the Month. This is fiction by Robert Graves, humor by Shel Silverstein and satire by Jules Feiffer. There is a Playmate Review pictorial featuring the Playmates of 1959. No Vargas Girl in this issue. Playboy didn't start publishing Varga's work until later in the year. All of my individually sold magazines are shipped in protective plastic sleeves with backing boards and sturdy cardboard to prevent bending by the Post Office. Shipping is $4.95 for Priority Mail to US buyers. International buyers please contact me regarding shipping rates and preferences. I do offer combined shipping discounts for multiple winners.
I can ship at least two magazines and often three in one priority mail envelope. I do not attempt to make money on shipping; I try only to recoup my costs.
