During the time of martial law that lasted from December 13, 1981, until
the collapse of the communist regime in 1989, Polish opposition movement was
issuing semi postal stamps to raise funding for their activities. These stamps
were never supposed to be used as normal postal stamps.
This is a set of two stamps issued by 'Confederation of Independent Poland Post' to commemorate 1000th anniversary of baptizing of Ukraine.
